FIND-A-FRIEND
Human beings need caring relationships to survive.
Around the globe, especially in America, we are going through unprecedented changes that leave many without social support networks. Yet the fact remains-- people are wired for connection to each other.
Unhoused single adults are frequently marginalized, isolated and excluded from mainstream society.

It is a feeling of being ostracized, othered and outcast in many spaces. Homeless individuals might have a paid professional or visit congregate centers in an attempt to cobble together basic survival needs. However these are often brief, transactional, quantitative exchanges rather than personalized, relational experiences which are the foundation of mental wellness and a quality life. When the provider is unavailable or the agency is closed people living through homelessness need healthy, positive, real friends.
You can be a friend.
